Procedure
Learn how to prepare AQUI-S® properly step by step
Remember that
When using AQUI-S® it is important that a Stock Solution is made first.
This is to ensure that AQUI-S® will be properly mixed in the treatment water or Working Solution and have optimal efficacy.
It is recommended that waterproof gloves and eye protection be worn when preparing and working with AQUI-S® concentrate, Stock Solutions, or Working Solutions.
Step by step mixing instructions
Make a Stock Solution of 1 part AQUI-S® to 9 parts water in a suitable container.
Example: 2 litres of AQUI-S® is diluted in 18 litres of water.
Ensure the container is large enough to allow adequate mixing/shaking of the Stock Solution. The Stock Solution can be made over multiple containers if necessary.
Add water first, lukewarm if available, then AQUI-S®.
Shake the Stock Solution vigorously to make a milky white emulsion. Add the AQUI-S® Stock Solution to the treatment water or Working Solution and ensure it is mixed well.

When using AQUI-S® in a well boat treatment, it is recommended to use the vessel’s medicine mixer to make the AQUI-S® Stock Solution. If the boat does not have a medicine mixer, the Stock Solution should be mixed in containers and added directly into the well.
The well must be operated as a closed recirculating system during the AQUI-S® treatment.
AQUI-S® is usually added after the fish have been transferred into the well.
